27 weeks!

Merry Christmas, all! We are so blessed to be able to spend this holiday season with so many friends and family, and we have loved hosting our first Christmas at our home! Some highlights from our recent holiday celebrations have included lots of games, ice skating, a feliz navidad Christmas Eve meal, and preparing for Santa's arrival with our nephew. We have loved every second of it, and we feel so spoiled getting so much great family time and knowing we've got a lot more coming!

• Baby K is the size of a rutabaga!
• I passed my glucose screening test!
• I'm officially in the last week of my second trimester…final homestretch, here we go!!!

26 weeks!

This week's updates:

• Baby K is the size of a head of lettuce!
• We had another ultrasound today and we got to see our sweet boy yawn! It was the cutest thing ever!
• I'm still craving lots of chocolate all. the. time!
• We recently traded in Alex's 2-door Volvo for a Honda CR-V! Car seats, here we come! :)

25 weeks!

The belly is in full swing!

This week's updates:

• Baby boy is the size of a cauliflower!
• I started a prenatal yoga class last week and I love it!
• We just signed up for childbirth education classes throughout January!
• I could eat chocolate ice cream every single day…(okay, so I actually AM eating chocolate ice cream every single day!)
• I think I may be officially "nesting", as I'm crazy about cleaning and organizing all of our spaces!

24 Weeks!

We hope that all of you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families! We are so incredibly thankful for so many things this season, including time with family, loving support from our dear family and friends, and our sweet little boy. We are getting closer and closer to meeting our tiny angelfish, and it's been a lot of fun designing his room and getting started on buying some nursery items. This is our progress so far…

It doesn't look like much in a photo, but we're excited to have the crib, crib mattress, dresser, and rocker. I'm sure we'll get them assembled sometime in the near future. :)

And baby boy and I are of course making progress, too!

Some key updates:

• Baby K is the size of a cantaloupe!
• Baby K really seemed to like pumpkin pie. :)
• We're getting closer to agreeing on a name! We plan to keep this a secret until he makes his arrival, but we're excited to be making some progress!
